No printed entry forms will be issued this year. Every school must register through this website before 2083 Bhadra 19. Paper forms will not be accepted.

Awards are also given for the best costume (सर्वोत्कृष्ट भेषभूषा) and the best dance director (सर्वोत्कृष्ट नृत्य निर्देशक).

Entry is by the online registration form. Print the completed form, add the principal’s signature and the school seal, and submit it to the office.
प्रतियोगितामा सहभागी हुन अनलाइन दर्ता फाराम भर्नुपर्नेछ। भरिएको फाराम प्रिन्ट गरी प्रधानाध्यापकको हस्ताक्षर र विद्यालयको छाप लगाएर कार्यालयमा बुझाउनुपर्नेछ।
Only students from class 3 to class 10 may take part. Schools may not include outside performers — a group found doing so is disqualified.
कक्षा ३ देखि कक्षा १० सम्मका विद्यार्थी मात्र सहभागी हुन पाउनेछन्। विद्यालय बाहिरका वा व्यावसायिक कलाकार समावेश गर्न पाइने छैन; त्यस्तो पाइएमा समूह अयोग्य ठहरिनेछ।
Only Nepali folk dance, song and music reflecting the authenticity of the related culture and tradition will be accepted.
सम्बन्धित संस्कृति र परम्पराको मौलिकता झल्किने नेपाली लोकनृत्य, लोकगीत र लोकसङ्गीत मात्र स्वीकार गरिनेछ।
Each group must have at least 8 and at most 24 participants.
प्रत्येक समूहमा कम्तीमा ८ र बढीमा २४ जना सहभागी हुनुपर्नेछ।
Remix versions of songs are not accepted.

Charya dance has its own distinct tradition and is not included in this competition.
चर्या नृत्यको आफ्नै विशिष्ट परम्परा भएकाले यस प्रतियोगितामा समावेश गरिने छैन।
Each group is allowed a maximum of 5 minutes, beginning after the announcer’s introduction.
उद्घोषकले समूहको परिचय दिएपछि सुरु हुने गरी प्रत्येक समूहलाई बढीमा ५ मिनेट समय दिइनेछ।
Judging centres on authentic culture. External decoration and theatrical presentation are not scored, and fire-based materials may not be used.
मूल्याङ्कनमा संस्कृतिको मौलिकतालाई मुख्य आधार मानिनेछ। बाह्य सजावट तथा नाटकीय प्रस्तुतिको अङ्क दिइने छैन र आगोजन्य सामग्री प्रयोग गर्न पाइने छैन।
Participating schools arrange their own materials and props.
प्रतियोगी विद्यालयले आफ्नो प्रस्तुतिका लागि आवश्यक सामग्री तथा प्रोप्स आफैँ व्यवस्था गर्नुपर्नेछ।
Schools that completed the online registration form must, when submitting the downloaded dance form on Bhadra 19, verify that their dance song is correct. The dance song cannot be verified on the day of the competition.
अनलाइन दर्ता फारम भरेका विद्यालयहरुले भदौं १९ गते, अनलाइनबाट डाउनलोड गरेको नृत्यको फारम बुझाउदा आफ्नो नृत्यको गित ठीक छ कि छैन रुजु गर्नु पर्नेछ । प्रतियोगिताको दिन नृत्यको गित रुजु गर्न पाइनेछैन ।
Submit the dance description with the form, either as typed text or as an uploaded PDF/image of the printed copy. Only the programme presenter announces it — schools may not announce their own. Dance directors may not appear on stage, front or back.
नृत्यको विवरण टाइप गरी वा प्रिन्ट गरिएको PDF/तस्बिरका रूपमा फारामसँग बुझाउनुपर्नेछ। उक्त विवरण कार्यक्रमका उद्घोषकले मात्र वाचन गर्नेछन्; विद्यालयले आफैँ उद्घोषणा गर्न पाउने छैन। नृत्य निर्देशक मञ्चको अगाडि वा पछाडि उपस्थित हुन पाउने छैनन्।
Each school may enter one group only.
प्रत्येक विद्यालयबाट एउटा समूह मात्र सहभागी हुन पाउनेछ।
Arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the start. Every participating student must attend with their ID card.
प्रतियोगिता सुरु हुनुभन्दा कम्तीमा ३० मिनेटअघि कार्यक्रमस्थलमा उपस्थित हुनुपर्नेछ। प्रत्येक सहभागी विद्यार्थीले आफ्नो परिचयपत्र अनिवार्य रूपमा साथमा ल्याउनुपर्नेछ।
Litter or props left after a performance must be cleared by the performing students or the school itself (scout dress only), using their own cleaning materials. Marks are deducted from discipline if this is not done.
प्रस्तुति सकिएपछि बाँकी रहेका फोहोर वा प्रोप्स सहभागी विद्यार्थी वा विद्यालयले (स्काउट पोसाकमा मात्र) आफ्नै सरसफाइ सामग्री प्रयोग गरी हटाउनुपर्नेछ। त्यसो नगरे अनुशासनतर्फको अङ्क कट्टा गरिनेछ।
Performance order is drawn by lottery on 2083.05.19, attended by the school’s dance director or representative. Schools are called in code-number order. Representatives must sign the attendance register 30 minutes before the 9:00 am start; a school that fails to sign in, or whose students are absent when called, performs last.
प्रस्तुति क्रम २०८३।०५।१९ मा विद्यालयका नृत्य निर्देशक वा प्रतिनिधिको उपस्थितिमा गोलाप्रथाबाट निर्धारण गरिनेछ। विद्यालयलाई कोड नम्बरको क्रममा बोलाइनेछ। प्रतिनिधिले बिहान ९:०० बजेको कार्यक्रम सुरु हुनुभन्दा ३० मिनेटअघि हाजिरी पुस्तिकामा हस्ताक्षर गर्नुपर्नेछ; हस्ताक्षर नगरेमा वा बोलाउँदा विद्यार्थी अनुपस्थित भएमा उक्त विद्यालयले अन्तिममा प्रस्तुति दिनुपर्नेछ।
Judges decide on the standard, creation, authenticity, movement, rhythm, presentation, costume, consistency of styling and discipline of the dance, and on everything presented within the allotted time.
निर्णायकहरूले नृत्यको स्तर, सिर्जना, मौलिकता, चाल, ताल, प्रस्तुति, भेषभूषा, शैलीको एकरूपता, अनुशासन तथा निर्धारित समयभित्र प्रस्तुत गरिएका सम्पूर्ण पक्षको मूल्याङ्कन गर्नेछन्।
The decision of the panel of judges is final.

Every participating school undertakes to observe and enforce the following.
At least one of the school’s chairperson, principal or director must be present throughout the competition.
प्रतियोगिता अवधिभर विद्यालयका अध्यक्ष, प्रधानाध्यापक वा निर्देशक मध्ये कम्तीमा एक जना अनिवार्य रूपमा उपस्थित हुनुपर्नेछ।
The school’s dance instructor must sit with the competing group in the place assigned by the management.
विद्यालयका नृत्य प्रशिक्षक व्यवस्थापनले तोकेको स्थानमा आफ्नो प्रतियोगी समूहसँगै बस्नुपर्नेछ।
No dance instructor, competitor or school representative may approach the judges.
कुनै पनि नृत्य प्रशिक्षक, प्रतियोगी वा विद्यालय प्रतिनिधिले निर्णायकहरूसँग सम्पर्क गर्न वा नजिक जान पाउने छैन।
Dance directors may not enter the stage in any signalling capacity during the competition.
प्रतियोगिताका क्रममा नृत्य निर्देशक कुनै पनि किसिमको सङ्केत दिने उद्देश्यले मञ्चमा प्रवेश गर्न पाउने छैनन्।
No unwarranted noise or disturbance from anyone identifiable with a school, inside or outside the hall. A school found doing so is disqualified and forfeits prizes, shields, medals and certificates — and must return them if already received.
सभाहलभित्र वा बाहिर विद्यालयसँग सम्बन्धित व्यक्तिबाट अनावश्यक होहल्ला वा अवरोध गर्न पाइने छैन। त्यस्तो पाइएमा विद्यालय अयोग्य ठहरिनेछ र पुरस्कार, शिल्ड, पदक तथा प्रमाणपत्रबाट वञ्चित गरिनेछ; प्राप्त गरिसकेको भए फिर्ता गर्नुपर्नेछ।

प्रस्तुति सकिएपछि बाँकी रहेका फोहोर वा प्रोप्स सहभागी विद्यार्थी वा विद्यालयले (स्काउट पोसाकमा मात्र) हटाउनुपर्नेछ। त्यसो नगरे निर्णायकहरूले अनुशासनतर्फको अङ्क कट्टा गर्नेछन्।
A protest may be lodged only by the school principal, with evidence, within 30 minutes, on a deposit of Rs 6,000. The deposit is refunded if the protest is upheld and retained by the committee if it is not.
कुनै उजुरी भए विद्यालयका प्रधानाध्यापकले मात्र प्रमाणसहित ३० मिनेटभित्र रु. ६,००० धरौटी राखी दर्ता गर्न सक्नेछन्। उजुरी सही ठहरिएमा धरौटी फिर्ता गरिनेछ; अन्यथा रकम समितिले जफत गर्नेछ।
The decision of the management committee and the judges is final.
व्यवस्थापन समिति तथा निर्णायक मण्डलको निर्णय अन्तिम हुनेछ।
